This was a staged project designed to maximise operating time for the existing restaurant. The existing restaurant was able to continue trade for all but 7 days. The new restaurant was constructed in the location of the previous carpark, allowing continuation of trade for the old restaurant during the construction process.
Clifford Constructions installed a gas vapour membrane under the ground slab to prevent any hydrocarbons leaching through the concrete slab into the air conditioned restaurant space. This process was completed to eliminate any potential health hazard.
When working with our hospitality/retail clients, it is also very important that we operate as efficiently as possible so that the construction time frame is minimised. This is one of the key challenges we embrace at Clifford Constructions – balancing the clients demand for speedy work to allow them to open the doors to trade as soon as possible without compromising the quality of the work we take great pride in delivering.
